Since the beginning of 2022, PD has implemented an Integrated Management System relating to process quality (ISO 9001) and environmental management (ISO 14001). Furthermore, in September 2022, the HIGG verification in terms of environmental impact was obtained for the second consecutive year. The constant improvement of internal company processes and the systematic organization of production flows allow PD to guarantee customers products that meet their needs. Global dynamics, however, increasingly require greater attention to sustainability and environmental management. Achieving ISO:14001 certification is a starting point for PD to control and reduce its environmental impact as much as possible. This is demonstrated by the resources invested, for example, in the installation of one's own photovoltaic system for the production of electricity and in the replacement of the heating system with a heat pump system to completely avoid the gas supply.
